Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Network Specialist to provide technical support and deploy company standard Wide Area Networks, Wireless networks, Security networks, and miscellaneous IT systems used by Heidelberg Materials' businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end-user support at our aggregate quarries, concrete, and cement plants for WAN, WIFI, Camera, and Security related projects and issues.
  • Schedule and deploy the company standards services to the Business.
  • Participate in both business-initiated and IT-driven projects.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation and training programs to assist in meeting business needs.
  • Occasional out-of-region travel is required with the ability to travel internationally.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience in a Microsoft Windows/Cisco networking environment.
  • Cisco CCNA certification or higher, experience troubleshooting network issues and configuring Cisco network equipment.
  • Experience ordering WAN circuits and an understanding of the various WAN technologies – DSL, MPLS, DMVPN, SD-WAN.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting, testing techniques.
  • Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • A detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills and basic project management experience.
  • Keen interest in new technologies and the vision to identify opportunities for improving processes.
