Cardiovascular ICU Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Care Unit at Dearborn Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients requiring cardiovascular and cardiothoracic care.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, utilizing patient-family centered care principles.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating patient and family goals and preferences.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient education and learning in the health record, ensuring accurate and timely communication.

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized organization required upon hire.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
• Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
