Job Title: Cashier/Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier/Receptionist to join our team at ST LOUIS METAL & RECYCLING COMPANY, INC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate pricing information and material specifications to customers.
  • Process paperwork, answer phones, and perform general office administration duties.
  • Responsible for following all legal requirements on purchasing and paying out materials.
  • Ensure good customer relations by acting in a courteous, safe, and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years previous cashier or customer service experience preferably in the scrap metal or construction industries.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment and adapt to frequent changes of priority.
  • Computer experience, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and the ability to learn in-house systems.
  • Ability to work standing or walking for up to 8 hours per day and meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
  • Flexible to work overtime, off-hours, weekends, and holidays in an industrial environment.
