About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Merchandise Expert to join our team at Target. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests, ensuring the sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed, and executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure the sales floor is visually appealing, with merchandise properly displayed and signed
  • Execute daily/weekly workload, including processing inbound deliveries, completing backroom fills, and maintaining backroom and fixture room organization
  • Collaborate with the General Merchandise and Food Sales team to lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes
  • Assist with transition sets and In Store Marketing (ISM) for non-GM areas of the store
  • Process all inbound deliveries using the Receive application to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Complete all backroom daily and weekly audits
