We are seeking a skilled Fitness Equipment Specialist to join our team at Planet Fitness. In this role, you will be responsible for performing facility and equipment maintenance across our 35+ locations in the Houston area.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, physical ability to move gym equipment, and mechanical aptitude. If you are a self-starter with a team player attitude and computer literacy, we encourage you to apply.
About the Role
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $50,000 per year, plus benefits including a 401(k) matching program and paid time off. As a salaried employee, you will work an 8-hour shift Monday to Friday, with opportunities for advancement within the company.
Responsibilities
- Fitness Equipment repair and preventive maintenance
- General facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, painting, and sheet rock
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to move gym equipment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Computer literacy in spreadsheets, email, and maintenance programs
- Valid US Work Authorization and Driver's License
