Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programming Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC Lathes (live tooling), fixture and tool design, creating and defining the manufacturing process, and developing 2D process drawings, work instructions, tool lists, operation sheets, and "shop floor" inspection methodology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program complex CNC machining operations for production parts and prototypes.
  • Design and develop fixtures and tools to support CNC machining operations.
  • Create and define manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Develop 2D process drawings, work instructions, tool lists, operation sheets, and inspection methodologies to support CNC machining operations.
  • Troubleshoot and assist set-up personnel with complex prototypes and production parts.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in CNC programming.
  • 5 years of experience using the latest revision of Cad Cam programming software (NX preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in CNC machining for complex parts.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills and thorough understanding of GD&T.
  • Experience with metrology tools and processes for part inspection.
  • Experience with G code programming at the machine control.
  • Good communication skills, math skills, and attention to detail.
  • Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Positive customer-focused attitude.
  • Enjoys a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Honest with good integrity.
  • Professional demeanor and respect for people in all situations.
  • Flexible and willing to help others as needs and tasks change often.
