Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist is a key member of our team at Crystal Clinic, responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images and operating radiology equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication skills to ensure accurate patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images with minimal patient exposure, adhering to ALARA standards.
  • Ensure safety devices such as shielding, lead aprons, and gloves are utilized properly during procedures.
  • Maintain proper operation of radiology equipment and patient records.
  • Review radiology requisitions and physician orders to ensure proper procedures are performed.
  • Identify patients and tests for accuracy and process radiology imaging requests.
  • Handle infectious waste, linens, and surfaces in an appropriate manner.
  • Answer patients' general questions and provide back-up coverage as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Three to five years of demonstrated experience in the field or profession, with successful completion of training to perform other radiology modalities (e.g., select C.T. procedures) preferred.
  • Registered technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed in the State of Ohio.
