Radiology Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing fluoroscopic procedures, positioning patients, and operating radiologic machines to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
- Position patients correctly for radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
- Operate radiologic machines, taking x-ray images of various body parts for medical diagnosis.
- Develop, process, and maintain x-ray films, ensuring high-quality images for medical professionals.
- Assist in fluoroscopic work, making clinical photographs and identifying images as needed.
- Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Keep accurate records and files, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to medical standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the Florida State Department of Health Services.
- Two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods, or successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association.
- Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques, regional and gross anatomy of the human body, and standardized radiologic clinical procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work individually or as part of a team, and remain calm under pressure.
Working Conditions:
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, occasional evening and/or weekend work, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to work individually or as part of a team, communicate effectively, and maintain accurate records and files.
