Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Synectics. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collection
  • Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, including labeling and packaging
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and laboratory results
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, colleagues, and supervisors
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and laboratory results
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
