Position Summary:

We are in search of an experienced Composite Manufacturing Engineer to refine our composite production and assembly methodologies. This pivotal role involves the design, development, and enhancement of manufacturing processes tailored for composite materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute manufacturing protocols for composite materials in alignment with industry standards.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee the manufacturability of innovative products.
  • Steer initiatives aimed at lean manufacturing process enhancements.
  • Tackle manufacturing challenges and offer production assistance.
  • Create manufacturing documentation and extend technical support to production teams.
  • Design tooling and resolve issues with non-conforming parts to minimize waste and rework.
  • Draft testing plans for FAA certification.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software and Part Lifecycle Management systems.
  • Deep understanding of composite manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience in developing work instructions and quality management systems.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with laser projection systems and composite cutting equipment.
  • Experience in prototype manufacturing and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Compensation Package:

This role offers a competitive salary structure, including base pay and Restricted Stock Units, with a target salary range of $102,600 to $170,800 annually. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
