About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team at Archbold Medical Center. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of mammographic images, ensuring high-quality results and patient satisfaction.
- Produce quality images, maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient procedures.
- Maintain infection control procedures, adhering to strict standards of hygiene and safety.
- Able to perform special procedures and set up for: needle localizations, galactograms, specimens, stereotactic biopsies, and U/S guided biopsies, and specimen procedures.
- Document all procedures timely and accurately, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare teams.
- Assume responsibility for Quality Improvement activities, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our diagnostic imaging services.
- Stock and organize work area, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
Requirements:
- Registered with the ARRT, required.
- Certified in Mammography, required.
- Must be knowledgeable in performance of all routine and special views, 1 year of experience preferred.
- Must provide proof of ongoing continued education.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate compassion and support for each patient.
