About the Role

Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for performing specialized procedures using sterile techniques and specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of complex specialized tasks eminent in operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.
  • Work closely with an Endovascular Surgery trained Vascular Neurologist, an Advanced Practice Provider, and a team of Registered Nurses and Registered Radiology/Cardiology Technologists.
  • Participate in comprehensive on-the-job training to develop your skills and expertise.
  • Contribute to a culture built on teamwork, compassion, and the goal of Moving Health Forward for our patients.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or hospital-based Radiologic Technology Program.
  • ARRT (R) registered or RCIS certification within 60 days of completing an accredited program.
  • Signature of NRC Confirmatory Order Communication.
Work Schedule

Varied shifts, including 7:00am-5:00pm, with weekend/holiday/call involvement; 72 hours every 2 weeks, with every 3rd weekend on call and on-call pay.
