Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Planet Healthcare. As a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology and imaging, with experience in interventional procedures. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for interventional procedures, including explaining procedures and obtaining informed consent
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and other diagnostic imaging modalities
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • MA RT (AART) License
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • 1-3 years of experience in cardiac Cath lab/IR
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • COVID Vaccines + Booster and flu vaccine required
