Responsibilities- Provide Patient-Centered Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Healthcare Team: Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.
- Lead and Develop the Nursing Team: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Communicate Effectively: Engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear and effective communication, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment: Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Education and Licensure: Current RN licensure in the State of Texas or a compact state license, or a valid temporary RN license for the State of Texas while waiting to receive the permanent license. BSN preferred.
- Experience: Prefer one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
- Certifications: Must have and maintain BLS and current certifications, according to unit-specific needs.
