Assembly and Test Specialist

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a skilled Assembly and Test Operator to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing products with direct guidance in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine assembling and testing functions, including lock wiring and final product detailing.
- Utilize mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedules.
- Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification.
- Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
- Record test results on data forms.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
- Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
- May be required to run automatic weld machines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
- Manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
- Effective English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
