Job Summary

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing complex components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. With direct guidance, you will work in a team environment to perform routine assembling, testing, lock wiring, and final product detailing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedules.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specifications.
  • Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
  • Record test results on data forms.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
  • Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
  • May be required to run automatic weld machines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
  • Effective English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
