Job Overview

K2 Staffing, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network systems.

About the Role

The Senior Network Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support, including tasks such as discovery meetings, site visits, proposals, and presentations. They will also be involved in deploying and managing Windows Servers and Active Directory, architecting and designing Local Area Networks, implementing and monitoring network security, optimizing and maintaining network software and hardware, building and deploying file servers and cloud computing solutions, configuring and deploying VOIP solutions, performing network infrastructure troubleshooting, managing Microsoft Exchange Server, and telephone solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients and internal teams on network-related issues.
  • Design and implement network architectures that meet client requirements.
  • Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory.
  • Architect and design Local Area Networks.
  • Implement and monitor network security measures.
  • Optimize and maintain network software and hardware.
  • Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions.
  • Configure and deploy VOIP solutions.
  • Perform network infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Manage Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Telephone solutions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, and workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
  • Three years of experience in a client-facing environment such as sales engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable working with clients at a business level to understand their current and historic issues regarding their business and technology.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience writing proposals for and implementation of technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player.
  • Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management).
  • Ability to problem solve at a high level, extraordinary customer service skills, strong multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Sales training experience is a plus.
  • MUST have worked in an MSP environment is a major plus.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure includes a base salary and potential bonuses.
