About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a Registered Nurse - Home Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Plan Patient Care

You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and treatment.

Collect and Analyze Data

You will collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses, ensuring that patient care is tailored to their specific needs.

Develop and Implement Care Plans

You will develop and implement care plans using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions, ensuring that patient care is evidence-based and effective.

Provide Skilled Nursing Care

You will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Collaborate with Healthcare Team

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure that patient care is coordinated and comprehensive.

Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse License

You must have a current Registered Nurse license for the state in which you practice.

Health Certificate

You must have a current Health Certificate, as required by facility contract or state regulation.

PPD or Chest X-Ray

You must have a current PPD or Chest X-Ray, as required by facility contract or state regulation.

BLS Certification

You must have a current BLS certification.

Experience

One year of prior Registered Nurse experience is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Adult Care

You must have experience providing care to adults.

G-tube Care

You must have experience providing care to patients with G-tubes.
