About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Electrician to join our team at StandardAero. As an Aircraft Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, checking, repairing, overhauling, and rewiring complete electrical systems and components on a variety of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair electrical systems and components on aircraft
  • Perform functional and operational checkouts of electrical instruments and flight systems
  • Maintain battery shop equipment and ensure that aircraft batteries are properly charged
  • Assist in installing various avionics systems on corporate aircraft
  • Document all work accomplished in a clear and concise manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Electrician
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificates is preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to perform electrical wiring functions and work with aircraft wiring systems
  • Technical ability on specific airframes and engines in the areas of inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, and repairs
  • Ability to locate and apply FAA regulations, Advisory Circulars, Orders, and Notices
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities in an organized manner
  • Good interpersonal and verbal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stretch, and climb ladders
