Aircraft Electrician Job Description

At StandardAero, we're seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrician to join our team. As an Aircraft Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing, checking, repairing, overhauling, and rewiring complete electrical systems and components on a variety of turbine-powered aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional and operational checkouts of electrical instruments and flight systems upon aircraft arrival and prior to departure.
  • Install and rewire complete electrical systems and components on a variety of turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft electrical systems and/or components.
  • Maintain battery shop equipment and ensure that aircraft batteries are properly charged in a timely manner.
  • Update technical manuals to include the latest wiring manual revisions.
  • Assist in installing various avionics systems on corporate aircraft.
  • Document all work accomplished in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Electrician.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificates is preferred.
