Job Overview

The Product Development Manager for Cellular Innovations will spearhead initiatives to collaborate with cellular service providers and other enterprises that enhance the company's offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide a cross-functional team of engineers in a dynamic environment responsible for product development from concept to launch. Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and mentorship among team members.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cellular partners and other solution providers. The primary objective will be to cultivate and manage vendor partnerships, working closely with engineering and development teams to prioritize and deliver integrated solutions that meet market demands.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders. The Product Development Manager will provide clear direction, planning, and issue resolution, ensuring regular updates and detailed specifications are presented to senior management.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's solutions by collaborating with product managers, engaging with industry partners, and identifying complementary hardware and service providers.
  • Engage in discussions with partners to identify solution gaps and generate innovative ideas that enhance market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough market research involving customers, competitors, and internal teams.
  • Generate support for cellular product offerings and a cohesive solutions vision both internally and with key external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cellular network providers.
  • Certified Product Manager (CPM) credential.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities and a hands-on approach to tasks. Highly organized and adept at meeting deadlines.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, or Vendor Management within a technology-driven sector.
  • Proven track record in managing vendor relationships and partnerships with companies offering complementary products and services.
  • Experience overseeing all aspects of a successful product or program throughout its lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in conveying requirements to engineering teams and business leaders, managing modifications during product development.
  • Adept at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a business context.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to formulate long-term strategic plans while addressing immediate operational challenges.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution.
