Job Title: Application Developer III

We're seeking an experienced Application Developer III to join our team, responsible for managing the Army Reserve TPU/IMA/IRR Soldier pay program. As a key member of our team, you'll establish military pay policy and procedures, process pay actions for TPU, IMA, and IRR Soldiers, and provide pay support to all Army Reserve units in CONUS, Puerto Rico, Europe, and IMA and IRR Soldiers serving worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and tailoring web-based solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform, with a focus on supporting the cArmy Migration directive. You'll work closely with our team to ensure good development, processes, reports, and assist where needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the team as a Power Apps Developer to ensure good development, processes, reports, and assist where needed.
  • Manage the Army Reserve TPU/IMA/IRR Soldier pay program.
  • Establish military pay policy and procedures.
  • Process pay actions for TPU, IMA, and IRR Soldiers.
  • Provide pay support to all Army Reserve units in CONUS, Puerto Rico, Europe, and IMA and IRR Soldiers serving worldwide.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in the role of Power Apps Developer.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Experience with using Power Apps to connect to data sources and display relevant information to process records.
  • Participation in requirements gathering.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with the Power Platform tool suite with SQL connectors to create flows and forms based on customer requirements.
  • Experience with creating Power Apps applications that act as a form for users to input data, using SQL stored procedures to read, update, insert, or delete data.
  • Experience with Power Apps development where users access a form and upload one or many files to a designated location such as cloud storage.
  • Experience downloading files as well from a designated location such as cloud or binary large object storage locations.
  • Ability to ensure that efficient and high-quality software deliverables are developed and function in both a LAN-based environment as well as an Azure Cloud environment.
  • Ability to ensure developed applications adhere to department policy and IA requirements.
  • Ability to optimize new and existing code for performance.
  • Ability to build Power App connectors to interface with PMD SQL backend data via Microsoft Azure Data Gateway.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed remotely using a GFE. Must be available during work hours, also at times you might be called to jump on if an emergency.
