Job Description

Overview

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Coordinator to join our team. As a Mental Health Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and monitoring of our Behavioral Health delivery system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for administrative staff, providing guidance on treatment programs and resolving issues as needed.
  • Coordinate the development and revision of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of required clinical services for inmates.
  • Supervise the planning, development, and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
  • Provide clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services.
  • Monitor the efforts of Behavioral Health Services to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assign clinical on-call duties and ensure treatment programs are integrated and appropriately staffed.
  • Provide administrative support to psychiatric staff.
  • Coordinate the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
  • Attend training and meetings as required.

Requirements

  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed (or license eligible with application pending) to practice psychology or social work in the state where services are being delivered.
  • Satisfactory background investigation report.
