About the Role

LC Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Generator Technician to join our team. As a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining generator systems ranging from 10 kW – 250 kW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site assessments, job planning, and coordination of electricians for quality generator installations.
  • Perform service, preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of generator systems.
  • Test, measure, and verify electrical component operations.
  • Operate and diagnose diesel engine, natural gas, or propane systems and report findings.
  • Conduct generator pre-inspections and system startups upon completed installation.
  • Complete service and equipment performance reports.
Requirements
  • Customer or client interaction: 1 year (Required)
  • Generator (or related) installation or maintenance: 1 year (Required)
  • Power generation training and/or experience or mechanic with electrical knowledge preferred
  • Working knowledge of DC and AC electrical systems
  • Mechanical aptitude and engine and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • A valid driver's license in good standing
