Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Work Now Staffing. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing maintenance activities for company assets and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of company assets to ensure they are working safely and efficiently
* Inspect, maintain, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment as required
* Maintain conveyor systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
* Perform basic plumbing repairs as required
* Perform electrical repairs and installations as required
* Maintain facility grounds and surrounding areas

Requirements:

* High School/GED graduate
* 1-2 years of experience in related area of responsibility
* Working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electricity, fire protection systems, conveyor systems, forklift mechanics, HVAC
* Ability to work overtime when business needs require

Preferred Qualifications:

* Technical certification or associate's degree
* 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
* Previous experience in electrical componentry and three phase wiring

Physical Requirements:

* Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
* Must be able to lift/push/carry up to 50lbs frequently
* Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
* Must be able to work from variable heights while wearing a safety harness
