Talent4Health is seeking a skilled Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Pediatric ER Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in a fast-paced emergency room setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat pediatric patients with a range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner

Requirements:

  • Active NYS RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must be from AHA)
  • Two years of experience in emergency room nursing, with a focus on pediatric care
  • IV insertion and phlebotomy skills
  • Conscious sedation experience
