Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you'll work closely with a primary care physician to deliver outstanding patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked
  • Review previous medical information and gather relevant updated health information from patients
  • Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures
  • Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations
  • Partner with the care team to develop individual patient plans of care
  • Perform front desk duties, including patient scheduling, medical record requests, and documentation
  • Record accurate and pertinent data in the medical record
  • Process test results and provide timely results to patients
  • Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care
  • Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program
  • National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred
  • CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
