Job Title: Surveyor

At Phoenix Industrial, we are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team. As a Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveys to determine the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
  • Record and transmit survey data to the proper files in our computer network.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Adjust surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy.
  • Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain or current installations.
  • Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas using theodolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS).
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience working in the construction field with layout or survey responsibilities.
  • Experienced with multiple types of survey equipment.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
