CT Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Midstate Radiology Associates. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic computed tomography procedures by selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields to produce technically accurate cross-sectional images.
- Participate in complex invasive CT exams by assisting the radiologist in performing the procedure using proper sterile technique.
- Assess patient requisitions for completeness and ensure the correct procedure and protocol are performed.
- Document patient and exam information, and store computerized images on an archive media for future reference.
- Prepare examinations for interpretation by the radiologist, including setting up films properly in the PACS system and accurately inputting data in the RIS.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology program.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
- CT state license.
- CPR certification may be required.
- At least three years of experience as a radiological technologist.
- ARRT Advanced CT Registry certification.
This position may require rotating on night, weekend, and/or holiday call schedules. May involve physical lifting and/or walking. OSHA Class 1 exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens.
