Job Summary

The Financial Analyst at Kinettix Inc. is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and projections using data from various sources. This role involves developing internal management reports in collaboration with the operations, finance, and sales departments. The Financial Analyst will require report writing skills using Power BI to accomplish tasks that will be consumable for all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop financial models to ensure accurate and timely project risk-return analysis.
  • Utilize historical results to determine trends and identify business drivers.
  • Prepare reports on solution desk and vendor development efforts.
  • Assist in budget preparation and collaborate with the Director of Finance.
  • Perform financial analysis and assist in preparing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet analysis.
  • Prepare commentaries and bridging schedules for budget variance.
  • Identify performance variances and recognize revenue drivers and business opportunities.
  • Assist in business forecasting and corporate reporting.
  • Monitor and provide feedback between proforma models and actuals.
  • Evaluate cost models and analyze trends in all markets supported by Kinettix at various geographic levels.
  • Work with the development team to establish appropriate reporting requirements.
  • Participate in other projects within the organization as needed.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting. Professional certification is preferred but not required.
  • Reside in the Cincinnati region.
  • 3-5 years experience in management accounting.
  • International travel.
  • Power BI report writing, Python, and DAX language.
