Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Staff Member to join our team at Grace Farms Foundation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to expedite customer orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to our sanitation and cleanliness standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and productivity throughout the day, even during peak periods.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00.
