We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team at Settles Hill Banquets & Events. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals using fresh ingredients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all menu items in a timely and sanitary manner, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in meal quality.
  • Assist with kitchen cleaning and organization, including participation in daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Restock inventory levels throughout your shift and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
  • Take ownership of the quality of food served to our customers.
  • Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment for each shift.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Line Cook is mandatory, with specific requirements including experience in frying, grilling, and sauté cooking.
  • ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification is preferred but not required.
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes is essential.
  • You must be able to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively are also required.
  • You should be physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
