Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at one of our outpatient dialysis centers. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting our clinical team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing safe and comfortable dialysis treatment to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse;
  2. Monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, including measuring vital signs and observing any changes in their condition;
  3. Educating patients on kidney disease and dialysis-related topics, promoting independence and self-care skills;
  4. Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to the nursing team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • No prior experience in dialysis is required, but healthcare experience is a plus;
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues;
  • A willingness to learn and grow, with opportunities for professional development and advancement.
