Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Part-time Hose Assembler to join our team at Teknor Apex. As an Assembler in the Hose Assembly department, you will be responsible for assembling and securing proper fittings to ends of hoses using internal Expansion Machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and secure proper fittings to ends of hoses using internal Expansion Machines.
  • Coil and attach labels with straps to the hose, then visually inspect the product before placing it directly onto the takeaway belt or in cartons.
  • Cross train to supply unassembled cartons to finishing tables, operate computerized label printers, and perform required quality checks.
  • Maintain production records.
  • Perform finished goods visual quality inspections.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and write as acquired through a high school education or the equivalent.
  • Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist, and turn as needed to perform the job.
  • Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Available Shifts and Hours:

  • 5 pm - 11 pm, Monday
  • Wednesday 5 pm - 11 pm, Monday
  • Thursday 11 pm - 5 am, Monday
  • Wednesday 11 pm - 5 am, Monday

Part-time status is not eligible for health, paid time off, or other company benefits.
