Tesla is seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to join the Cell Manufacturing team at Gigafactory New York. As a key member of the Equipment Engineering organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Execute the calibration program for a 24x7 manufacturing environment, including inspection, test, and measuring equipment.
- Conduct calibration, repair, diagnostics, and modification of industrial process control instrumentation.
- Manage technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Review calibration test results and certificates for accuracy.
- Train equipment owners in the use of the calibration program.
- Communicate status of all calibrated equipment to equipment owners.
- 2+ years of experience in relevant calibration laboratories or quality operations positions.
- Knowledge and working experience of ISO 17025.
- Understanding and application of Control Plans.
- Able to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Proven strong technical quality support and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office software.
