In the role of Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Training Specialist, you will leverage your profound knowledge of emerging C-UAS technologies, training methodologies, and force modernization to collaborate with key figures in the Force Protection sector. Your contributions will be pivotal in integrating critical and innovative C-UAS capabilities into Army units. You will utilize your expertise to assist in the planning and execution of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operations, supporting both individual and collective training initiatives aimed at countering the evolving threats posed by these systems.

Your responsibilities will include developing training scenarios and UAS threat simulations, as well as coordinating these within the guidelines of Army Flight regulations. Your proficiency in navigating aviation requirements and unit training frameworks, while liaising with both internal and external training partners, will significantly enhance the Force Protection and Readiness of military personnel.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in the U.S. military as a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) or Officer
  • Knowledge of C-UAS, UAS, or Electromagnetic Warfare
  • Background with Special Operations Forces (SOF)
  • Possession of a Secret clearance
  • High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in training development for Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVC-G) training approaches
  • Familiarity with Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) UAS
  • Experience in training integration for conventional and Special Operations units at the Battalion level and higher
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
