Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer in Economics and Agricultural Economics to join our faculty team at North Dakota State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching up to four course offerings per semester in the economics and agricultural economics programs, as well as contributing to the department's research and service activities.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in economics and agricultural economics
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly articles
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities
Requirements
  • M.S. degree or ABD in Economics or Agricultural Economics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Teaching experience, including serving as a teaching assistant
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or Related Fields
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in post-secondary classroom teaching
  • Experience teaching online
  • Knowledge of U.S. agriculture and agribusiness
