We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Teledyne FLIR LLC. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax returns and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns.
- Review and analyze tax returns prepared by external tax return providers.
- Prepare international tax returns, including Forms 5471 and 8858.
- Calculate and prepare extension and quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Prepare various non-income tax returns.
- Provide support and analysis for federal and state audits.
- Prepare state apportionment workpapers.
- Assist with multi-state nexus review and state throwback analysis.
- Interface with other members of the accounting department to ensure efficient tax information sharing.
- Conduct tax research using online tools and resources.
- Assist the provision team with preparation of annual and quarterly worldwide tax provisions.
- Continuously improve tax return preparation processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3 years of directly related experience and/or training.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Competitive salary range: $74,800.00-$99,880.00.
