Job Summary

We are seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our high-net-worth tax practice. As a Tax Senior Associate, you will work with individual tax clients to assist them with the transition of wealth from one generation to the next.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns by required deadlines.
  • Work with the tax and wealth transition team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed.
  • Collaborate with the national Wealth Transition Services team on various projects.
  • Work with clients to ensure relevant tax-related information is gathered so that an accurate tax return can be prepared.
  • Analyze the tax situation of the individual, their trusts, and their estate from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
  • Attend professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
  • Effectively interact with all levels of staff, clients, and other external business contacts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a valid CPA license or working towards obtaining a CPA license (preferred); Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted.
  • 4-5 years of experience in public accounting tax work, including experience with individual, fiduciary, gift and estate tax returns.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to bring solutions to the table.
What We Offer

Eide Bailly provides a competitive and equitable compensation philosophy, with a salary range of $86,000-$112,000.
