About the Job

The Referral Supervisor plays a critical role in our healthcare team at The Roads Foundation Inc, working closely with Referral Coordinators to ensure timely and accurate submission of referrals, patient communication, and addressing all referrals and authorizations.

You will be responsible for directing and supervising all work activity and productivity of Referral Coordinators, auditing referrals management processes, insurance eligibility and verification, and assisting patients in obtaining authorizations for and tracking referral submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Directs and supervises all work activity and productivity of Referral Coordinators
  2. Audits referrals management processes
  3. Insurance eligibility and verification
  4. Assists patients in obtaining authorizations for and tracking referral submissions
  5. Ensures all documentation regarding referrals is uploaded into the EHR system in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years' experience managing referrals management processes
  • Experience in medical office referrals submissions, appeals, denials, modifications, and submission turnaround time
  • Customer service
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and health plans
  • Experience with EHR systems
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
