La División de Obstetricia y Ginecología en Westchester Medical Center, un hospital de 600 camas, busca un especialista en Obstetricia y Ginecología. Esta es una oportunidad excepcional para un profesional calificado que desee contribuir a un programa en expansión y sólido en el ámbito obstétrico y ginecológico.

El departamento cuenta con un programa de residencia en OB/GYN que incluye 17 residentes, con un enfoque dedicado a los servicios ginecológicos.

Se proporcionará un completo apoyo clínico y administrativo para ayudar a desarrollar una división de ginecología avanzada de clase mundial, en colaboración con un departamento de ginecología de alcance completo que incluye Medicina Materno-Fetal con ultrasonido, planificación familiar mínimamente invasiva y compleja, Uroginecología y una sólida división de Oncología Ginecológica.

La división tendrá amplios tiempos de bloque en quirófano y fácil acceso a un nuevo sistema robótico DaVinci de doble consola.


Contamos con modernas oficinas ambulatorias completamente equipadas y un sólido soporte clínico con proveedores de nivel medio.


Calificaciones / Requisitos:


El candidato exitoso debe estar certificado o ser elegible para la certificación en Obstetricia y Ginecología, y tener experiencia clínica actual en un servicio obstétrico activo, habilidades mínimamente invasivas sólidas y participación activa en un entorno académico.

Buscamos un candidato a nivel de profesor asistente o asociado que posea excelentes habilidades clínicas, de comunicación e interpersonales, y que esté comprometido con la atención al paciente, la educación de residentes, becarios y estudiantes de medicina, así como con actividades académicas que avancen la medicina clínica.

Se espera la participación en actividades de enseñanza con estudiantes de medicina, residentes, becarios y otros miembros del personal médico, así como contribuciones académicas y colaboración en investigaciones.
