Senior Bookkeeper

McDonald & Osborne, P.A. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team and contribute to our clients' success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, tax returns, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for our clients.

1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for clients.
2. Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
3. Client Accounting Services: Provide bookkeeping and accounting services to clients, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
4. Continuing Education: Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry best practices. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years' experience as an accountant in an accounting firm or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters accounting and tax software (i.e. UltraTax CS, Accounting CS) is a plus.
