About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Retail Department Coordinator. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Management: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by promoting a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Team Collaboration: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor, and prioritize tasks and activities according to store plan.
  • Productivity and Quality: Monitor productivity of team, coach as necessary, and maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area.
  • Customer Service: Engage and interact with all customers, maintain a clean and organized store, and role model exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, and able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
