We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality speech and language services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with educators and parents to create a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' unique needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, including individual and group sessions, and tailor therapy plans to meet each student's needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication needs in various educational settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, treatment plans, and evaluations, and prepare reports for parents, teachers, and school administrators as needed.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
