To ensure the optimal functioning of the company's forklift trucks, road vehicles, and various shop machinery and equipment.

Position Overview:

This role is under the supervision of the Equipment Maintenance Manager and demands a unique combination of skills and experience tailored to the maintenance of forklifts, vehicles, and production machinery. The technician will also oversee the upkeep of shop machinery and equipment. All necessary tools for performing job responsibilities will be provided by Sea Box.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, rectify, and report safety hazards to mitigate accident risks.
  • Seek and implement cost-saving measures and opportunities for efficiency and profit enhancement.
  • Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and adhere to the Sea Box Quality Policy by conducting self-inspections of work outputs.
  • Assist in the maintenance of forklifts, vehicles, and production machinery, including routine preventative maintenance.
  • Repair and maintain paint pumps, rivet guns, and other shop equipment.
  • Collaborate with shop personnel to ensure the maintenance of building and equipment assets.
  • Lift production items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a consistent state of alertness and safety while fulfilling essential job functions.

Qualifications:
