Job Summary

As a Field Service Specialist at Actalent, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and providing machine start-up services of machines. You will also repair, test, and calibrate machines in the field at customer locations. Additionally, you will provide hands-on machine training to customer maintenance personnel, production operators, and sanitation personnel. Your expertise will be essential in performing complete mechanical and electrical diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to existing customer equipment. You will also be responsible for performing inspections and routine electrical and mechanical maintenance on existing customer machines. Furthermore, you will track and maintain accurate records of all parts and materials used for repairs or replacements. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in maintaining a safe and clean work area while working at customer sites. You will also adhere to all local safety policies and procedures when on-site at customer locations. Your skills in troubleshooting and repairing PC boards, programming test fixtures, and PLC programming and modifications will be valuable assets to our team. As a Field Service Specialist, you must be open to 30-40% travel to customer sites.
