Position Summary: The University of California, San Francisco is seeking to appoint a select number of faculty members in the Department of Medicine to spearhead clinical outcomes research across various medical subspecialties. The department is particularly interested in candidates who are committed to addressing essential questions regarding patient care, with the ultimate aim of enhancing health outcomes and mitigating disease impacts.
Research Development Support: Successful candidates will receive resources to establish and grow their research initiatives. Candidates must possess an MD, PhD, or equivalent terminal degree. Those with MD qualifications are required to hold ABIM certification and be Board Certified in their respective subspecialties. A solid foundation in clinical research is essential.
Appointment Levels: Positions will be available at the assistant, associate, or full professor levels, contingent upon the applicant's qualifications and experience.
Compensation: The minimum salary range for this role is established based on rank and step at appointment, with the potential for additional compensation through the health sciences compensation plan.
