Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians in interventional procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and record isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental guidelines.
  • Observe patients during procedures, set up and take down procedure rooms with necessary supplies, and retrieve items requested by physicians.
  • Operate imaging equipment available in IR procedure rooms and adjust settings based on real-time instructions from physicians.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media for patient examinations according to radiologists' direction.
  • Maintain imaging and processing equipment by performing scheduled cleanings and tests, and document results as appropriate.
  • Use Radiology Information System (RIS) to input patient examination data and place patient orders when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Radiography from an accredited program.
  • 1-3 years of professional work experience in radiography, with a minimum of 6 months of experience working in a procedural-based department.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and RTR-RT Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
