Maternity Care Unit Director Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Nurse Manager to lead our Maternity Care team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical activities, supervising staff, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence in patient care.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic healthcare team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. With over 40 years of experience serving the north Houston communities, we offer a comprehensive range of medical services, including cardiology, maternity care, Level III NICU, pediatrics, bariatrics, and neurology.

As a Nurse Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement strategies that promote quality patient outcomes, improve patient satisfaction, and enhance the overall patient experience.

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure in Texas, and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS certification is also required.
