Position Overview

As a Construction Project Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the entire homebuilding process from start to finish
  • Encouraging a collaborative team atmosphere
  • Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with subcontractors
  • Regularly assessing quality, safety, scheduling, and cost control measures while enforcing site safety protocols
  • Providing mentorship to team members as needed
  • Managing the construction timeline to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product within budget
  • Formulating and executing recovery strategies to maintain project schedules, authorizing payments for materials and completed work
  • Offering clear explanations to clients regarding the home construction process, ensuring satisfactory conditions upon move-in
  • Delivering exceptional customer service consistently
  • Ensuring the home is completed by the original timeline provided to the buyer
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing worksite throughout the construction phase
  • Overseeing the post-closing warranty process, including evaluating warranty requests, determining actions, scheduling trades, and managing quality assurance
  • Being open to performing additional duties as assigned

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED with at least 1 year of construction experience (preferably with a production builder) or successful completion of the TM360 Learning curriculum if applicable. A Bachelor's degree in Construction or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the new home construction process, including scheduling and cost control procedures.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules, with knowledge of all phases of new home construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Customer service-oriented with a commitment to prioritizing client needs.
  • Flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Engaging in office or non-manual work directly related to management or general business operations.
  • Exercising independent judgment and discretion on significant matters.
